Beautiful quilts!! I love the minimalist–my daughter would love it. Did you have a pattern? If yes do you have the name so I can try to find it. Thanks!

Thank you! My Minimalist quilt was so much fun to make! The overall quilt is my own design but the quilty crosses in the middle are a pattern by Aunty Cookie: https://www.flickr.com/photos/auntycookie/5735001295/

Beautiful quilts! I especially like Ariella’s quilt. Did you design it – and/or can you tell me where I might access the pattern?

Hi Debra!
Thanks so much!
Yes, I did design this quilt my self. I made a simple version of the Economy Block along with Charm Square sized pieces of fabric to complete the centre, then sashed them together and placed borders around the edge to finish the top off.

I love your “mini donation quilt” from 2013. What pattern did you use for that? Looks like a fun one to make. 🙂

Thank you! I think I got the Dresden Plate pattern from a Cath Kidston book called ‘Patch’. 🙂

Hi Amanda, quite an impressive gallery!
Just decided to give it a go to arts and crafts, I would love to work towards your Hexie cushion and your colour play quilt… Would you consider to give me the indications to proceed with them?? Where did you fan the models?
Many thanks, and hoping you are having a fabulous time!
Cheers, Clara

Hello!
Many apologies for my late reply! Thank you for your lovely comment.
My Hexie Pillow was made by just sewing English Paper-Pieced Hexagons together into rows until I had about the right size for a throw cushion. I then attached a simple backing and then filled it with a cushion insert.
My Colour Play Quilt was made using a pattern by bettycrockerass that was in a magazine I bought a few years ago. It was made using the Drunkard Path block design.
Happy Sewing! 😊

I often wondered what your quilts looked like once I saw the blocks. You are very diverse for a new quilter. I was wondering where do you get your fabrics?

Thank you for your lovely comment.
I mostly buy my fabrics at Spotlight which is a huge craft/decor type store here in Australia.
