  4. hi amanda … i have watched your tutorial on the jacob’s ladder block and am curious why you say to trim it to 12 inches at the end of the video .. … from what i see you are using a 12.5 inch square yet you say it is 12 inches … a beginner friend of mine has made this block from your tutorial and cut all her blocks back to 12 inches because she followed your instructions … and because of this he HST’s in the blocks have all lot their points .. rendering the blocks unusable … i think a little more thought should have gone into your wording …

I love finding new quilts places! I love love minis too. Do you have more mini tutorials planned? I enjoyed the snail trail. One of my favorites. Churn Dash and log cabin are cute too as minis

    1. Yay! I’m so happy to have you join me! 🙂
Currently I don’t have any mini blocks tutorials planned for the near future, but that can always change!!
I have made a tutorial doing a mini Churn Dash type block called the Double Wrench Block – here’s the link to the YouTube video if you’re interested! https://youtu.be/CW-fBDQZNIo

  7. Hi Amanda!
I have been watching your YouTube tutorials for a few months now and I really look forward to them each week! I love love love your “British bunny” quilt, and I was wondering if you could possibly do a tutorial on the Union Jack pattern that you used. I would really appreciate if you could, because the quilt is one of my favorites! Thank you for making great videos 🙂

Watched two of your videos. I really enjoyed them. The first video I watch was paper piecing and you were very easy to understand. I liked the way you did your paper piecing. Looking forward to watching more videos. I also watched your video on making the heart block. I really enjoyed that one too! Thanks so much for taking your time to helping others to learn more about quilting!

I love making my tutorials – it’s a wonderful outlet for me to challenge and explore my creativity.
I also love that I can help others with techniques that they’re struggling with. It makes it all worth it 🙂

  10. Help Amanda,
I watched your paper piecing video which is wonderful. I am making a block that has 2 90 degree corners on the same piece how do you do that. I have tried everything and it is not working for me. What suggestions do you have because you did to mention this in the video.
    Thanks

    1. Hello!
      Great question!
To be completely honest, it’s kinda hard for me to help you without actually seeing how the two 90 degree corners come together.
Is there any way you can take a photo of it and perhaps send it to me?
The best way might be to attach the picture to an email and send it to my email address – 3and3quarters@gmail.com
Hopefully then I can help you as much as I possibly can! 🙂
