It’s come that time to say goodbye to the month of May… Lots of new and exciting things have happened and begun both in my quilting/sewing life as well as in my everyday life! Whew, it sure has been a busy one and I’m so glad I’ve been able to share all of it with you over the past 31 days! (Minus the five days I missed!)
Wishing you all a very happy and creative June!
Happy Sewing, Friends!
xx
Well I thought you did very well with all you have on your plate. Looking forward to what you will post in June.

Was reading your May 30 blog, I used to work at a craft store, was awful when things went on sale and I was tempted to use my employee discount! I still have several cross stitch kits needing done, and both my daughters got wall hangings one year when they sold their floor displays (Bucilla, anyone? already done?)
hold on!

Thank you sweet lady! I enjoy your blog so much, love the colors you combine. I admit I’m much more “old fashioned” but I love doing the old blocks in new colorways, so you inspire me! you introduced me to using more aquas, and I love the aquas and turquoises now (I’m sure you’ve seen Tula Pink’s lovely colorways!) This is from her foxtails collection, and may I NEVER try 60 degree triangles again! I have tons of scraps from this because I had to buy more fabric from cutting them wrong…

and how about an accidental bargello that started out as a trip around the world, but was too long and skinny so I cut off the bottom and put it on the side! (2 precut 24 strip jelly rolls from the clearance bin, I have NO idea the name of the designer, but it has Parisian themes in it!)

Got to love the aquas and turquoses with the clear reds and pinks, and Tula even added in gray and lavender. I never thought I would mix those colors, I saw the aqua first in one of your blogs, and then the jelly rolls, and when I saw the Tula Pink kit on Craftsy, I couldn’t resist. Admittedly neither one of these are my old fashioned style, but the next one I’ve almost finished is a giant pinwheel with very modern primaries…
Thank you again, dear lady. You are welcome to share the pictures if you wish.

Hi Sharon! Would it be possible for you to forward through to me your home phone number? I tried to send your giveaway gift at the Post Office yesterday but was informed that it couldn’t be sent overseas without a phone number.
If you don’t want to publish your number here, you can send it to me in a quick email to 3and3quarters@gmail.com – I hope to hear back from you soon so as I can post your parcel asap!! 😀 Thanks! xx
